How it works?
- Step 1: Select a Path Learners applying to the program will select one of three courses: Agile Software Development, AI Programming with Python, and Enterprise Security.
- Step 2: Challenge Course
17,000 applicants accepted into the program will enroll in a challenge course for the selected major, where they will learn the fundamental elements of their chosen subject. The artificial intelligence and cybersecurity courses include technical assessments on which candidates will be tested in order to qualify. The project management sector is not subject to any technical evaluation before the Challenge Course. - Step 3: Announcement of scholarship recipients
The top 500 students in their respective challenge courses receive a scholarship from the Nanodegree program.
Scholarship timeline
- Monday October 23, 2023: Opening of Next Generation Tech Booster applications on the Udacity website
- Thursday November 30, 2023: last day to submit applications to obtain access to scholarships on Udacity
- Monday December 11, 2023: Scholarship holders are informed of their admission to the program
- Friday December 15, 2023: start date of the Phase 1 challenge
- Thursday February 15, 2024: end date of the Phase 1 challenge
- Friday March 8, 2024: start date of phase 2 Nanodegree
- Monday July 15, 2024: End date of Phase 2 Nanodegree
